Hello,

IMPORTANT - this is a message we are sending to all of our customers, so
please DO NOT reply to it unless you need to.

Ok, the switch is done - we have changed the IPs of our original dns
servers from:

ns1c.johncompanies.com 198.78.70.180
ns2c.johncompanies.com 198.78.66.4

to:

ns1c.johncompanies.com 69.55.225.225
ns2c.johncompanies.com 69.55.230.3

It is NOW appropriate for you to do the following:

1. On your system, edit /etc/resolv.conf and change the two
nameservers in there. The effect is immediate, and you do
not need to reboot or anything like that. If you use other
nameservers than ours to begin with, obviously you can keep
them if you want. However, if what you have in resolv.conf
is our old ones, seen above, please do change them both.

2. Go to your registrar (network solutions, godaddy, etc.) and
change the DNS settings to point to the two new IPs - please
note that the names of the two nameservers are not changing,
just the IPs. If you do not use us for DNS, you don't need
   to do this step.

AGAIN, it bears repeating, the _names_ are not changing, just
the Ip of each dns server, so the two IPs are all you need to
change for any domain that we do dns for.

3. If we are your secondary dns, and we slave from you, change
your zones to allow 69.55.225.225 to do zone transfers from
   you now.

---

The old IPs will continue to work and answer for a week or so,
but after that, they will be discontinued - so please do these
items this coming week.

As always, thank you very much for your business!
