The YACLML macros generate HTML that looks like

  ><tr style=\"background-color: blue\"
    ><td
      >x</td
    ><td style=\"background-color: red\"
      >foobar</td
    ></tr
  ></table
>

What is the advantage of putting the closing angle bracket on the next
line.  Can this behavior be turned off?
