Gary, I resent the patch using the -u option. I also set up a
repository for public access. Try following the link from
http://danm.homelinux.org to my Darcs repository area. Be advised that
this site has a dynamic IP, so occasionally the DNS record won't be
up-to-date. If you have trouble accessing it, wait a little while and
then try again

BTW, another little detail about my testing which I forgot to mention:
I did have to disable MK-DEFSYSTEM support to get the tests to pass.
