Bah, never mind. Pilot error. (Some changes I had in my local copy of
SLIME didn't play well with some other changes made recently. I backed
out my changes and this problem went away. Sorry about that. (BTW,
this is different than the problem I was having debugging a spawned
thread. I still have that problem with a completely pristine and
updated SLIME.)
