Thank you. Can anyone point me to the file that has this bit of
non-portable code. I'd like to create a patch for ECL in Sage so this
builds on Solaris properly, but I'd like a patch against the latest
stable release.

Without a clue what function this is in, it  will take me ages to
track down the file manually.
