It is. Now that I think about it, I should rebuild ECL as 32-bit. For
app deployment, I'm only interested in the least common denominator
(stopping short of PPC, unfortunately), so 64-bit is irrelevant, and a
universal binary doesn't seem worth the trouble. I'm still a bit lost
in Mac OS, but "-arch x86" to CFLAGS and LDFLAGS appears sufficient to
build a 32-bit ECL (although I haven't actually tried running the
result yet).
