The tools are free. You probably have to accept such a license when you 
download the tools, but the developer tools (SunStudio) are free and 
have been for some years, though they used to be chargeable.

They are installed on 't2.math' as /opt/SUNWspro/bin. The C compiler is 
'cc', the C++ compiler 'CC' and there are various fortran compilers 
(f77, f90, f95 etc).
