Definitely -- however, the documentation of the base code is still shallow.
Notice I'm talking of documentation that enables partial understanding.
Last time I had a nasty bug (that was eventually fixed by Juan), I spend
a good deal of time trying to infer an understanding of the code.  That
was unsuccessful given the time quota I had.
