[Ecls-list] Oddity with C-z on Mac OS X

This happens to me with ecl 0.9l (self-built) on Mac OS X 10.5.

Start ecl. Press C-z to suspend it. Then fg to make ecl active process
again. I immediately get the error:

Read or write operation to stream #<input stream "stdin"> signaled an error.
Explanation: Interrupted system call.
Broken at SI:BYTECODES.No restarts available.
Broken at SI:BYTECODES.
 >>

I enter :q to return to top-level. Press C-d. Then there is a long
stream of messages like above, until eventually I get a bus error and
ecl quits.

Normally C-d just silently exits.
