[Ecls-list] ECL memory usage

I'm thinking about using ECL in a project and was curious how efficient 
it is with respect to memory footprint. Can somebody tell me how it 
compares to GCL and CLISP on this front? I have done some small 
benchmarks and it looks like they're all similar, but it's difficult to 
tell how they will fare when they application size is scaled up.

Also, does ECL derive any size benefit from its use of compiled-C as the 
FASL format? Is that better/worse than the bytecode density?
