OK, then there still is an absence in *features* for a tcp sockets
'configure', i.e. something to add in to resolve questions such as the
above.  It's easy to tell that I did enable TCP sockets, since it's
part of that build script I had mentioned in eariler posts.

configure --with-tcp --with-clx --with-x
...

But there is something wrong with the resulting ECL, every cl-package
I tried failed.
