* A bug in the C version of FORMAT that caused unlimited memory 
allocation when one of the arguments of a directive was a bignum. Now 
bignum integers are allowed, but they are truncated. Further 
investigation of this is required.

* Port of ECL to Microsoft VC++ by Goffioul Michael. I have mostly 
incorporated his patches, together with a new directory (ecl/msvc) in 
which ECL can be build using NMAKE and MSVC++. This ports includes 
rudimentary support for winsocket lisp streams.
