One critical fix has been comitted to the CVS tree:

* Readtable case now works for reading and printing symbols.

Some other fixes:

* New memory-efficient algorithm for printing bignums that is not 
constraint to a given size.

* Some fixes relative to the cygwin port. (M.Goffioul)

* Automatic deletion of DLLs under the MSVC port.

* Floats are properly read even when *read-base* is not 10.

* Stub functions for CLOS streams.

* PEEK-CHAR works now for concatenated streams (M.Goffioul)

* ECL now checks whether the lambda list of a DEFMETHOD is compatible in 
length with a previously specified one.

* Fixes in the documentation and error messages (J. Stecklina)

Please report any non-compliance or instability of the system with these 
changes.
