Hello,

just hit the following:

> (format t "~{~}" "~A" '(1 2 3))
"~A" is not of type LIST.
Broken at FORMAT.

It barfs instead of printing "123". But I guess format incompatibilities (what a word...) are a known issue and I feel like hiding in a corner when I look at the current implementation. ;) It is clearly over my head... Okay, I'll work around it...
