Gitlab authetication

I have a git at common-list.net/mantoniotti/myrepo.git remote; cloned via git
I believe.

But how do you tell Sourcetree and Gitlab to synch?  Plus, I tried to
generate a new key pair, but Gitlab complains that I am trying to upload a
private key.
