Currently, I've disabled "Sign up" and only allow "Sign in" because I'm
able to keep the system accounts aligned with the GitLab accounts. I'm open
for discussion on that point though. It just seemed to be the most
practical and spam-free solution at the time.
You should be able to associate your GitHub or Google/GMail creds with your
account and use the creds for their account to log in (sign in) on our
GitLab instance though.
Mostly just curious, since I, of course, have an account. But what
