NFS works very well most of the time and it is easy to administer.  It
might not be the best network file system that exists and it certainly
can't be as dependable as a local file system, but then again,
common-lisp.net is not a high availability environment, does not
generate a lot of load and the NFS access will be local within a
virtual machine host.
