Hi,

People on this list might be interested in a draft a colleague and I
submitted to CMMR 2005, describing the application based on climacs
that's being used for editing lute tablature encodings.  It's
provisionally available at

(but be aware that it is only a draft, and has not yet been reviewed
let alone accepted).
