I have the same behaviour on my machine. I'll have a look. The mode
switch is not as fast as expected sometimes.

I don't use skype actually. I'll try before the release.

It's not annoying but not expected neither. I'll have a look. Maybe a
transient window handled and closed behind CLFSWM.
