What about Lisp-in-a-Box ( http://common-lisp.net/project/lispbox/ ) or 
the related project LispBox ( http://gigamonkeys.com/lispbox/ )

I was sure there was a live bootable Linux CDROM for a Lisp introduction 
and learning, but I can't find it now (I thought it was from the NYC 
Lisp Users Group...)
