It is turning into a rout. cl-ftgl is now sorted out, and I was so 
pissed off that it took so long that I just finished porting cl-openal.

Not that OpenAL is one of the more challenging libraries, but it was 
nice bagging two in one day.

at this point the only thing left is ImageMagick. We're having trouble 
getting a build of the full API (including the higher-level Wand API) 
which does not include X11. One solution might be doing without the 
fancy Wand API. We will see.
