ok, this is a bug in the examples themselves. the issue is this:

whenever we startup an application we publish the wwwroot of the
application object at the url-prefix of the app, in the case of the
example app this means that "ucw/wwwroot/ucw/examples/" gets published
as "host:port/ucw/examples/", unfortunetly there is no application
which ever publishes the ucw/js directory. i'll move the js stuff into
the example directory (which is where it should be anyway).
