[asdf-install-devel] Patches, Darcs, 'n' stuff

Hi Andy,

The tests are part of the asdf-install project on common-lisp.net.  
They require LIFT (also on common-lisp.net). You should be able to  
#'asdf-install:install both of these and then

(asdf:oos 'asdf:test-op 'asdf-install)

Please let me know if anything goes wrong or is confusing...

I've still not made the time to look at Edi's stuff but I do know that  
there is an Lisp archive package around somewhere that handles tar  
files (in case you want to look at two things :)).
