Hi Terrance,

SBCL should have socket support and that should be the package sb-bsd- 
sockets. I'd really like to figure out what isn't working since this  
installation sort of snafi causes nothing but pain and frustration...

What happens if you

(require :sb-bsd-sockets)

at the SBCL prompt before trying to asdf-install?

Did you build SBCL from source or install a binary?
