i take that back. paolo's message with subject "Windows opened by
open-window-stream are not automatically closed when their parent is
closed" is not in the current archives (not in the month of february
at least). [it's not in gmane either so i don't really know where it
went]

i noticed that the id numbers are much much lower in the new archives,
so we must be missing a large number of emails (around 3000). if
anyone has a copy of the emails and sends them to me i can try
rebuilding the archives and see if that fixs it.
