Just as a suggestion, tla 1.2 could sign archives, so the proposition of
'--signed' usage and reference to
http://wiki.gnuarch.org/moin.cgi/Signing_20Archives could be added.

And (just personally!) I don't think that --YEAR is a "right thing" (I know
that it's recommended by Tom, but...)
