Not sure if anyone's interested at all, but I forked this a little while
ago and have been on-and-off hacking on it for the past couple of days

Comments and criticisms appreciated.

I'm currently experimenting with adding output queues to each actor so that
they can be completely decoupled rather than statefully tracking targets.
That seems to be the only annoying part of developing with the library. It
seems that the changes were made without major explosions, but it's pretty
late my last tea was quite a while ago.
