I wonder why you can't get away with patching hunchentoot for your
purposes, i.e. by re-defining those internal functions of hunchentoot
that you need to change, and distribute the hunchentoot patches with
your application (?).  That way, you'll be able to publish whatever
you have, and if you create a large enough user base that is using
your software and annoyed by the way hunchentoot needs to be patched,
Edi may be easier to convince.
