Bear in mind that it goes in the critical path WRT performance. Each if
form in the code serving data and each cache msis coming with it makes
Hunchentoot a tiny bit less performant.
As it is a debugging tool that can only be used in a very limited set of
cases, and that general purpose and scalable solutions can be done in a
few lines outside Hunchentoot's core, I don't think it's worth it.
