You need to have this packages:
  - mel-base
  - mcclim
  - split-sequence

You have to start first of a lisp environment (as SBCL).

   /opt/local/bin/sbcl --core /opt/local/lib/sbcl/clim.core

And then:

   *(require 'asdf-install)
   *(asdf-install:install :split-sequence)
   *(asdf-install:install :mcclim)
   *(asdf-install:install :mel-base)  

   *(load "stamp.asd")
   *(asdf:operate 'asdf:load-op :stamp-core)
   *(stamp-core:stamp)

- handling non-ASCII messages: try CL-MIME.

- sending email: try CL-SMTP.

- composing messages: write a new ESA application.

  rstrandh's idea: "essentially a couple of Drei panes for editing
    message headers and body [...] such a thing could be structured
    in a way similar to Climacs, but with a fixed set of panes."
