You shouldn't need to explain yourself. I use SBCL, yet I understand and
appreciate the fact that CMUCL is the reason that SBCL exists. It's
fantastic that one can go to at least one college and receive a world-class
Lisp education. We all owe a huge debt of gratitude to CMUCL. I'd use it
myself, but I need threading. That's the only reason I switched. If someone
tells me that CMUCL has threading now, I may switch back.
