I'll not merge this in.  Window management is very tricky and a
gazillion of customization variables doesn't solve it.  Customization
variables bloat the code considerably and make testing painful.  Every
such variable means a lot of work.  If you really need it you can do it
with slime-compilation-finished-hook.
