Thanks for the info.
I forgot to mention that SBCL 188.8.131.52 Win32 works with Slime
without any problem. I also set SWANK:*COMMUNICATION-STYLE* to
NIL explicitly (for both 184.108.40.206 and 1.0.16.*).
