[slime-devel] problems in bridge.el

when byte-compiling bridge.el with emacs 23, I got these warnings:

bridge.el:174:1:Warning: !! The file uses old-style backquotes !!
This functionality has been obsolete for more than 10 years already
and will be removed soon.  See (elisp)Backquote in the manual.
              
In bridge-send-handler:
bridge.el:223:31:Warning: bridge-insert called with 2 arguments, but accepts
    only 1
