[slime-devel] New startup behavior

Hi all,

I noticed that since the recent change in startup behavior, slime seems to
compile a lot more code each time it is started.  My older laptop takes a lot
longer to start than before, when sbcl used asdf to load it, IIRC.  Is there a
way to avoid this delay with each start?
