Unfortunately I have no time to investigate this but here is how to reproduce it (seen with LispWorks as well as with CMUCL, SLIME from CVS): At the REPL prompt type " (quote) and then RETURN. At that point I get an END-OF-FILE error. Cheers, Edi.
