Hmm, not here it doesn't.  It looks like I'm using a SLIME from about
June 8, so if it's been fixed since then, that'd explain it.

Assuming a more useful sldb-inspect-condition command than I seem to
have here, this patch would give the behavior I intuitively expected
from the debugger:
