LispSea is the Seattle local users group for Lisp
language programming.
April 2007 begins a series of presentations on
systems programming using ANSI Common Lisp.
These are tutorial style talks for those familiar with Lisp
OR those curious about its possible use for systems
programming, especially though from other backgrounds.
The topic is "Lisp manipulation of C structures."
Subsequent presentations will include "deterministic
programming in Lisp" for near real-time applications.
The official announcement is posted on the wiki for
the Association of Lisp Users:
http://wiki.alu.org/LispSea
E-mail with full details will be sent to this list
approximately a day before the actual event.
I hope you'll attend and find these useful.

Through discussions last year with the original creator and
early members of LispSea, this direction of presentation
style meetings is intended to COMPLEMENT and EXTEND the
relaxed, social environment of SeaFunc, Seattle's functional
programming group.
As mentioned on the wiki page linked above, you are highly
encouraged to participate in SeaFunc.
Thanks,
-Daniel
