Nice.  Will this (minus the "generic") also work with 0.12.0 now that
your patch is in?  Maybe you'd like to write a paragraph or two about
generic types that we can add to the documentation?  (ASCII text is
fine, doesn't have to be HTML.)

Oh, BTW, will you also be in Amsterdam?
