A bit of grepping shows that qmp is a nickname for
quux-multiprocessing, defined in pkgdcl.lisp, and defined in
compat-threads.lisp  threads.lisp  thread-variables.lisp
thread-variables-test.lisp
I suppose these and any supporting macros
would be a good candidate for export to qitab

When we move things, we probably need to keep track of what we move
and what we fail to move.
I propose that one directory under qitab should contain partially
migrated files,
and a file with a list of partially or completely migrated files.
A new system xuuq might also offer a view of the new files that is
(mostly) backward compatible with the old one, for the sake of
migration. But we don't actually have to maintain it, just insert the
hints for changes that would be difficult to reverse engineer
afterwards.
