Message-ID: <4E771EEA.6000802@laposte.net> Dear all, Munich's Lisp list doesn't seem to be very aktive. However, from former meetings, I was aware that some lispers are also interested in Haskell. Therefore, I'd like to announce the first Munich Haskell meeting, on Thrusday, 29. of September, at 19h30 at Cafe Puck (http://www.cafepuck.de/). It would also be nice if you could inform other interested persons. Meanwhile, have a nice time, Heinrich From rajubitter at googlemail.com Wed Sep 21 09:27:49 2011 From: rajubitter at googlemail.com (Raju) Date: Wed, 21 Sep 2011 11:27:49 +0200 Subject: [munich-lisp] Any lispers interested in Haskell? Since the Lisp group is not that active any more, how about setting up a group for functional programming in general. I'm personally more going into the Clojure direction right now, but I'm equally interested in meeting with experts using Lisp or Haskell. :-) Check this group/website: http://lambdalounge.org/ "The Lambda Lounge is a St. Louis user group focusing on the study of dynamic and functional programming languages with occasional excursions to other topics of interest." We could start a similar group in Munich, if you are interested. From the few meetings of the Munich lisp user group I attended I gathered the impression that general interest was not focused exclusively on Lisp, anyway. Maybe stating that clearly and forming something like a functional programmers group instead will even attract more attendees to the meetings. There should be even a mailing list which is not in use. Who has the address of this list? For now, there are only people interested in Haskell in the meeting of 29. September, but please feel free to join us with your idea. Everybody is wellcome and we can discuss the way to go. I also think it's time to create a functional programming group in Munich. Jorge, didn't you do a review of "Learn you a Haskell"? Maybe you would like to join us, too? Who has the address of this list? The list is high-order-munich at fs.lmu.de and can be subscribed at http://lists.fs.lmu.de/mailman/listinfo/high-order-munich There are a few more subscribers than when I first created it, so you probably should send your announcement there too. :) Readers of munich-lisp, you are invited to join this mailing list and fill it with traffic on functional topics not limited to Lisp! -- Christian Neukirchen http://chneukirchen.org From jorge.tavares at ieee.org Thu Sep 22 06:59:19 2011 From: jorge.tavares at ieee.org (Jorge Tavares) Date: Thu, 22 Sep 2011 08:59:19 +0200 Subject: [munich-lisp] Any lispers interested in Haskell?
