From jean.claude.beaudoin at gmail.com Fri May 3 04:07:14 2019 From: jean.claude.beaudoin at gmail.com (Jean-Claude Beaudoin) Date: Fri, 3 May 2019 00:07:14 -0400 Subject: MKCL 1.1.11 is now available Message-ID: MKCL 1.1.11 is now available for general use on the MKCL page along with the usual set of pre-compiled binaries for MS-Windows. This release is mostly a consolidation of all the bug fixes accumulated along the last 2 years and a half or so. Please consult the log on MKCL's gitlab repository for a detailed account of the changes. The content of the "contrib" directory has also been updated. Most notably, ASDF is now at 3.3.3 and CFFI at 0.20.0. Now, the future of MKCL is in somewhat of a state of flux. Changes to the code structure of what is currently evolving to become MKCL 1.2.0 have been extremely extensive. So much so that I have deemed best to drop this current code base and to rather start a complete rewrite from scratch that would then import the best and most recent parts of the previous code base when appropriate. The current work on MKCL 1.2.0 has already shown that great performance improvements both in time and space could be accomplished. The rewrite has clearly the potential to push this much further...
