[mkcl-announce] MKCL 1.1.0 RC4 is now available

MKCL 1.1.0 RC4, is now available for general use.

Contrib packages have been updated to the following levels:

ASDF 2.24
alexandria 2012/08/14
babel 2012/08/13
cffi 0.10.7.1
bordeaux-threads 0.8.2
fiveam-1.0
slime 2012/08/18

Quicklisp is now officially supported.

Boehm's GC has been updated to 7.2d in order for MKCL to work properly with
gcc 4.6 and later,
as mentioned in the NEWS section of MKCL's web page.

RC4 is most probably the last release candidate in the 1.1.0 effort.
It will be promoted as is to full stable release status two weeks from now
if no significant bug is reported in the meantime.
