Sorry for any confusion but metatilities still has strings.lisp. It is  
a separate project from metatilities-base. Metatilities-base is  
supposed to be "core" whereas metatilities tends more towards the  
kitchen sink approach. My intent is to break out the good stuff in  
metatilities into their own (more manageable) chunks and eventually  
mothball it. Metatilities-base will evolve to have a more tightly  
focused set of useful things.
