I've been a bit lax of late unfortunately; the necessary changes wrt 
text sizing
Christophe added to McCLIM haven't been implemented and none of the 
other changes
since then have been tested.

I don't think it should take much to get it back to the state it was in 
a while
ago (i.e. working for most things but slow and buggy).
