[imp-hackers] Another topic: ANSI standard test suite

It seems development of this test suite has been discontinued by its
creator. Some time ago there was some motion towards creating a fork,
enlarged and maintained, probably including implementation-specific
tests as well (MOP tests would fit there well, Unicode would be great
to have...) However, that effort disappeared.

Could this be revived? It would be wonderful to have all tests suites
in a single repository, perhaps including also benchmarking tools and
other tools that help for automated testing on all platforms -- I know
at least one project, Sage, that would be very happy about it!
