thanks for identifying the problem! i've pushed a fix that uses subtypep.

i've added an extra :gccxml-flags that is needed on my recent ubuntu.
with this it generates a binding for me, but it has some c++ stuff
towards the end, so i'm not sure it works without filtering it out.
