 Currently Elephant behaves much like CLSQL, it has a number of .asd files
 which should only be called in certain circumstances but are all called
 with asdf-install downloads and installs the package.

 Is there a better solution?  Perhaps a patch to asdf-install so a
 distribution can indicate which .asd file to load in?
