produces

Further:

gcc -mno-cygwin -mwindows -c -Wall -std=c99 -L/c/Programme/Oracle/Berkeley\ DB\ 4.5.20/lib/ -I/c/Programme/Oracle/Berkeley\ DB\ 4.5.20/include/ libberkeley-db.c

produces
