The location is fine: a few minutes walking from the Leidseplein,
and a few more minutes to Felix Meritis.  It's also within walking
distance of the Saturday evening boat cruise.  But there's a lot of
traffic on the Stadhouderskade near the Marriott, so I suppose it
could be a bit noisy.

If you like Marriott hotels, I think it wouldn't be a bad choice.
